Outgoing President Joe Biden and his top officials will be in New York touting their work on climate and warning of potential Republican rollbacks.

President Joe Biden this week is set to make what’s likely to be one of his last big climate speeches as president.

Former President Donald Trump won’t be in the room, but his potential return to office — and threats to torpedo Democrats’ climate work — loom large as Biden prepares to take the stage.

With the presidential election just six weeks out, Biden and his allies are hammering home a theme: Climate policy would look very different if Republicans were in charge.

The president is heading to Climate Week NYC this week, where he’s set to speak Tuesday at the Bloomberg Global Business Forum. His top energy and environmental officials are also flocking to climate events to tout the Biden-Harris administration’s legacy, including massive federal investments to slash emissions and boost clean energy.
