The Senate passed legislation Tuesday that would roll back Biden administration efficiency standards for residential gas furnaces.

Energy and Natural Resources Chair Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Sens. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Bob Casey (D-Pa.) and Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.) voted with 46 Republicans to approve S.J. Res. 58 from Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on a 50-45 vote.

It was the latest in a string of Congressional Review Act measures targeting the administration’s energy efficiency rules for home appliances.
