Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is still receiving earnings from his former green-group employer and plans to continue doing so while serving in the Trump administration.
Kennedy, President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, reported an income of $28,651 in benefits from the Natural Resources Defense Council in a financial disclosure reportreleased by the Office of Government Ethics.
Those earnings come from Kennedy’s pension from NRDC, where Kennedy previously served as a senior attorney.
“Mr. Kennedy’s benefits package at NRDC included a pension, like other employees at the time,” said NRDC spokesperson Josh Mogerman.
