Key House races for energy, environment go down to wire

Climate and energy issues have played a role in numerous close races this election cycle.

Control of the House could come down to a few tight races in which climate and energy have played a role this campaign season.

In many cases, vulnerable Republicans have been seeking to bolster their climate bona fides, but it might not be enough to save them in Democrat-friendly districts.

And Democrats in tough races have sought to recalibrate their message on electric vehicles and energy in an attempt to ward off Republican attacks.

Republicans currently hold the advantage — 220 to 212 — with three vacancies due to death or resignation.
