John Kerry, Bernie Sanders join ‘Elders for Kamala’

Climate advocates think “elder” Americans will be key players in putting Kamala Harris in the White House next year.

Big names in the climate world — including John Kerry, Jane Fonda, Bill McKibben and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) — joined an “Elders for Kamala” call Monday night to raise cash and drum up enthusiasm among the 60-and-over crowd.

“I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling it in my body and my bones,” said Fonda, an actress and climate advocate. “We can do this!”

Fonda and others spoke on a virtual call set up by Third Act, a group founded by McKibben to organize Americans over 60.
