House Natural Resources Democrats on Tuesday released their slate of ranking members for the new Congress.

The assignments — some old, some new — are one of the first organizing moves of the committee’s new top Democrat, Jared Huffman of California, who replaced Raúl Grijalva of Arizona. Grijalva is now ranking member emeritus.

Huffman said the committee’s minority would stand against President Donald Trump and the Republican’s pro-fossil fuel agenda.
