The House will vote this week on whether to block funding for electric vehicle charging stations on Capitol Hill.

The Rules Committee on Monday made in order an amendment from Texas Republican Keith Self to block any spending on existing chargers.

It’s one of the few amendments to the fiscal 2025 House Legislative Branch bill getting a vote. The bill, which would fund Congress and its supporting agencies, is expected to hit the House floor this week.
