Republican leaders of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee are asking EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin to meet with their staff to discuss alleged waste and conflicts of interest at the agency during the Biden administration.

Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) and Rep. Eric Burlison (R-Mo.), chair of the Subcommittee on Economic Growth, Energy Policy and Regulatory Affairs, sent Zeldin a letter Thursday requesting a briefing on EPA’s past implementation of climate and environmental justice initiatives.

“Each grant issued by the Biden Administration deserves heightened scrutiny,” the lawmakers wrote.
