Missouri Democratic Rep. Cori Bush lost her reelection primary race Tuesday, the second time this year that a vocal Green New Deal supporter has been ousted.
And in a fiery speech, the St. Louis lawmaker suggested there would be repercussions for the pro-Israel and corporate interests that opposed her.
Wesley Bell, the top prosecutor for St. Louis County, easily beat Bush in the 1st District primary, which followed a race that was often acrimonious and attracted significant outside spending.

The spending included pro-Israel groups such as the United Democracy Project, an affiliate of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, which opposed Bush for not supporting Israel in its Gaza war.
