EPA employees were happier on the job this year, surpassing previous records held by the agency for staff motivation and satisfaction.

EPA’s results from the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey showed worker engagement, office morale and diversity practices all increased by a percentage point or more in 2024, according to an internal email obtained by POLITICO’s E&E News.

The agency beat record scores it reported last year as it has been empowered by the Biden administration’s agenda in fighting climate change and aiding overlooked communities long burdened by pollution.
