Evergreen Action has added two new members to its governing board of directors, the climate organization announced Wednesday.
Jade Begay, who works on Indigenous rights and climate policy, and Sunrise Movement co-founder Evan Weber have joined the board, Evergreen Action Executive Director Lena Moffitt announced.
“Evergreen could not be more excited to welcome these two visionary movement leaders to our governing board,” Moffitt said.
Begay and Weber were unanimously elected to three-year terms on Evergreen’s governing board of directors, the group said. The board is responsible for the organization’s strategic guidance and overseeing the executive director.
