President Joe Biden plans to keep his team focused on their own priorities for his final days in office as they prepare for an “orderly” transition to the incoming Trump administration.

“We have 74 days to finish the term, our term. Let’s make every day count,” Biden said Thursday in a speech from the White House. “That’s the responsibility we have to the American people.”

The top priorities for the Biden administration’s waning days in office include keeping the government funded, assisting hurricane victims, passing the National Defense Authorization Act and getting judicial nominees confirmed, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Thursday.
