The Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership is angling for an “energizing” new boss who will “inspire and motivate” the group’s staff and partners, according to a job listing posted on the organization’s website.
The conservation group has hired an executive search firm to help track down its next CEO after the group’s longtime President and CEO Whit Fosburgh resigned in December.
The ideal candidate will have a “proven track record of building strong partnerships and leading teams,” says the job posting from PBR Executive Search. They will also have a “deep passion for hunting, fishing, and conservation” and a commitment to the group’s mission, which is to “guarantee all Americans quality places to hunt and fish.”
The group’s next CEO can expect a minimum salary of $240,000 per year plus a performance-based bonus, the job description says. Other advertised perks include a “competitive benefits package” and “generous” paid time off.
